The Ceremonial Ritual of the Lwob Repus
The anthropologist has become so familiar with the diversity of ways in which different people behave in similar situations that he is not apt to be surprised by even the most exotic customs. In this light, the practices of the Lwob Repus present unusual aspects that present the extremes to which human behavior can go.
Since the mid-1900s, the tribal men and women of the Lwob Repus clan have eagerly awaited for their annual ceremony. This involves the magical practice of the art of Llabtoof. The art of Llabtoof involves two teams of barbaric men that are put against each other to see who can take a ball to the other teams side the most. Each team will do whatever it takes to win, even if it means tackling, putting someone unconscious, or even close to fatal death. Lwob Repus is the annual game of Llabtoof where the two best teams are put against to see who will remain on top. This is where things are turned up to eleven.
During this event, the tribe members have this ritual broadcasted on their primitive Noisivelet systems. The members of the clan debate, argue, and even may hurt one another because of their passion for one of the teams. During the ceremony, intermediate showings of propaganda are presented. For many, this is the most important part of the ritual. They bring snacks, drinks, all sorts of food to celebrate their monstrous and hectic custom. After the ritual is complete, sometimes close to midnight, everyone leaves and awaits for the next annual Lwob Repus.
